Welcome to the "Annapolis Valley Ukulele Group" Website

The Annapolis Valley Ukulele Group is a group of Ukulele players from the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, Canada who meet on Sunday afternoons (except for July & August) at the Windermere Community Hall, 402 Windermere Road in Windermere NS. Our sessions are from 2pm to 4pm every Sunday afternoon weather permitting. The sessions normally begin with 10 to 20 minutes of learning something new. The remainder of the time is used to practice songs, new techniques, strumming, finger picking patterns etc. Cost is $2 per session which pays for hall and other group expenses.

The group entertains at Seniors Facilities throughout the Annapolis Valley and is always a hit at the Homes. We alway bring sufficient songbook material so that all seniors can fully participate in the event.

The group maintains an extensive library of Songs, Books, Magazines, PowerPoint Presentations and CD/DVDs that are available to members by contacting the librarian. When members sign out library materials, it's requested that it be returned within 30 Days.
